The grants will be available via the Operational Programme for Large Infrastructures (POIM), Priority Axis 6. The two dedicated financing lines: Measure 6.1. Increasing the energy production from the least exploited renewable energy sources (biomass, biogas and geothermal) and Measure 6.4. Increasing savings from the consumption of primary energy produced from high-efficiency cogeneration systems, have been launched starting with 16th of May 2017.

POIM 6.1.Increasing the energy production from the least exploited renewable energy sources (biomass, biogas and geothermal), is dedicated for SMEs and large enterprises which perform activities in the field of energy, electrical and thermal production.  Eligible projects cannot exceed a total value of EUR 50 mil., with a maximum grant of EUR 15 mil. and funding intensities of 80% for small and micro enterprises, 70% for medium enterprises and 60% for large enterprises.
