EASME has selected 178 projects from 184 SMEs in 28 countries on the basis of the proposals received in Phase 1 cut-off February 2017. Projects selected from this cut-off will receive a total of EUR 8.9 million and each project will receive EUR 50,000. This funding will assist SMEs to finance feasibility studies for new products, that can disrupt the market. The projects were selected from 2111 proposals.
Most projects will be in the area of ICT (36), followed by low-carbon and efficient energy systems (31) and transport (28).
Most SMEs benefitting from this funding come from Italy (37), followed Spain (33) and the UK (16).
The next cut-off date for this type of funding is 3 May 2017.
