EASME has selected 176 projects from 184 SMEs in 28 countries on the basis of the proposals received in Phase 1 cut-off in November 2016. Projects selected from this cut-off will receive a total of EUR 8.8 million and each project will receive EUR 50,000. This funding will assist SMEs to finance feasibility studies for new products, that can disrupt the market. The projects were selected from 2091 proposals and since the start of the programme in January 2014, 2024 SMEs were selected for Phase 1 type of funding.
Most projects will be in the area of transport (29), followed by ICT (26) and health (21).
Most SMEs benefitting from this funding come from Spain (52), followed by Italy (24) and the United Kingdom (13).
The next cut-off date for this type of funding is 15 February 2017.
