During this period, Donor States (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway) will contribute with **EUR 2.8 billion to 15 EU countries**. There are three out of five priority sectors that are expected to be applicable for private sector projects, namely Innovation, Education and Environment. These three priority areas are expected to bring funding opportunities for private sector enterprises through the following project areas: **Innovation** - Innovative technologies, processes and services - Sustainable business development - Greening of existing businesses and processes - Development and implementation of innovative products and services - Research within the priority sectors of the EEA and Norway Grants - Application of research result - Education and training, including co-operation between education-research-business - Access to employment and participation in the labour market **Education** - Education and training systems and work-based learning - Transition from education and unemployment to work - Access to health care systems **Environment** - Environmental monitoring and modelling - Management and control of hazardous substances - Energy efficiency in production, distribution and/or end use - Renewable energy production and/or distribution - Waste to energy - Carbon capture and storage On the basis of our successful experience in the past, Winnovart is pro-actively involved in the consultation process.
