Any EU based enterprise is eligible to submit an application, regardless of having or not a Romanian presence when submitting the application. The *Operational Programme for Competitiveness, Measure 1.2.1., funds* business-led product and process innovation projects, developed individually by enterprises or in collaboration with research organizations. **Eligible expanses comprise**: - Industrial research - Experimental development - Obtaining and validating of industrial property rights - Realization of technical feasibility studies - Innovation consultancy services and innovation support services - Expenses related to highly qualified personnel - Expenses related to the introduction of the R&D results in production The project implementation period cannot exceed **36 months**. The programme addresses both SMEs and Large enterprises. Eligibility and funding conditions can significantly vary depending on several relevant issues, such as: the applicant or consortium type, types of eligible activities of the project, development region where the project will be implemented, etc. For the moment, the Applicant Guide is in public consultation, while the call opening is expected during the **1st quarter of 2017**. The Programme Operator is the National Authority for Scientific Research.
