SME Instrument Update February 2017 – First Phase 1 proposal submissions in 2017

EASME has released the statistics of the latest Phase 1 cut-off date.

February 2017: EASME has received 2111 proposals from 42 countries (most submissions by Spanish and Italian SMEs a total of 35%) for Phase 1 cut-off in February 2017, thus an increase from November 2016 cut-off date.

A number of 506 proposals were submitted for ICT, followed by 250 for ICT and Health, 204 proposals for Eco-innovation and raw materials, 199 proposals for Agriculture and forestry, 194 proposals for Energy and 181 proposals for Business model and innovation.

Top 5 most submitted proposals submitted by countries: Italy leads the way with a total of 382 proposals submitted, followed by Spain with 350 proposals and UK with 157 proposals, while Germany and Poland have submitted 93, respectively 78 proposals.

The proposals will be evaluated and candidates will be informed at the latest in two months period.
