    Various analysis and statistics of the SME Instrument, based on public information provided by the programme operator about number of applications, beneficiaries, topic and country breakdowns.     February 2016 update: SME Instrument has kicked-off in 2016 having decoupled the cut-off dates for Phase 1 and Phase 2. The first deadline of the year was for Phase 2 and EASME has received a total of 553 proposals by 3rd of February. Our statistical analysis is based on the public information made available by EASME.     January 2016 update: For the last cut-off date of the 2015, on November 25th, EASME has received 3146 proposals for both Phase 1 and Phase 2, a record number compared to the previous cut-off dates. Country and topic breakdown can be accessed here.

    May 2015 update: SME Instrument 2015 (Horizon 2020) – SME Instrument 2015 had its first cut-off date on March the 18th for both Phase 1 and Phase 2 projects. EASME received a total number of 2183 project proposals out of which 1569 were for Phase 1 and 614 were for Phase 2 projects.     April 2015 update: SME Instrument 2014 (Horizon 2020) – After the latest results (for the December cut-off date) were published, we have an overview for the SME Instrument in 2014 for both Phase 1 (December & overall) and Phase 2 (December & overall).     January 2015 update – SME Instrument (Horizon 2020) statistics update – As of January 2015, we have a preliminary overview of the SME Instrument beneficiaries 2014, for both Phase 1 (June and September 2014 rounds) and Phase 2 (October 2014 round).     December 2014 update – Winnovart study on SME Instrument (Horizon 2020) – European Commission’s programme addressing highly innovative SMEs – By December 2014, after three cut-off dates for the SME Instrument – European Commission’s funding programme addressing highly innovative SMEs, more than 8000 proposals have been submitted for the programme’s Phase 1 & Phase 2. You can check it here.
