GBP 1 million will be available for design projects to help businesses identify high-value innovation opportunities and generate ideas. These should be for new products, services or business models that align with customer demand. There will be grants up to GBP100,000 and a funding intensity that may reach 70% intensity.

GBP 35 million will be available to develop low carbon automotive technologies. Projects must be collaborative, and must include at least 1 vehicle manufacturer and/or a tier 1 supplier as part of your consortium, and at least 1 small to medium enterprise (SME) partner.
